Tap Room Server

Duties

Greet customers as they come in, check IDs and stamp hands for any customer consuming/purchasing alcohol. Adhere to TIPS protocol for safe serving.

Inform and educate customers on our beers, highlighting flavors of our new releases and our core lineup.

Pour beers to Widowmaker Standards (proper glassware, proper headspace, rinse glass of spillage)

Accurately operate the cash register, manage deposits, and operate the POS system

Clean bar tops, floors, walls, restrooms, crowler machine, windows, rugs, walk-in, etc.

Set up the taproom according to the Opening List. Clean and breakdown the taproom according to the Closing List.

Adhere to company safety, sanitary, etc. policies and procedures

Promote Widowmaker’s brand (company backstory, beer names back story, etc) and upcoming events (beer gardens, bar crawls, tap takeovers, new releases, new merch)

Assist in responsibilities of busser when needed

 

Requirements

TIPS certification (required prior to start date)

Must have open availability (nights, weekends, holidays, doubles)

Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, repeatedly lift objects up to 55 pounds, and bend, twist, and turn as required

Must be a team player who excels in a small business environment

Must be reliable and organized with exceptional attention to detail

Must be able to keep up with a high energy, fast-paced environment

Must be knowledgeable about craft beer/brewing. Bartending/Retail experience preferred
